ECP rejects petition against Khursheed Says it is a matter of civil court

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECO) on Monday rejected an application filed against Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah for alleged provocation to occupy land in Sukkur.
During last hearing, the ECP had issued notice to Khursheed Shah on an application filed against him by Abdul Ghaffar from Abad Lakhoo, Sukkar.
Abdul Ghafoor filed a petition with the ECP while taking the plea that Khursheed Shah was provoking some influential people to occupy his land illegally. The opposition leader had submitted reply on the application. The ECP after hearing the application rejected it saying that it was a matter of civil court. The commission unanimously rejected the application against Khursheed Shah saynig the civil court could be approached over the issue.
