Without power
This is to draw the attention of KE to the serious problem being faced by residents of Karachi. Many areas suffer 15-16 hours of loadshedding. This has made the lives of people miserable. Electricity is one of the basic necessities. Intermittent loadshedding has already badly affected the country’s economy. Many small scale factories went out of business since they cannot work because of long hours of loadshedding.
This serious problem has started affecting the lives of students as well. Last May, a large number of students faced problems because of persistent loadshedding. In fact, many examination centres were also out of power, creating discomfort for students. The standard of education is already low in the country and the situation like this further aggravates the situation. The government and KE must take serious steps to tackle the issue.
