Residents of Islamabad are not happy with the performance of the CDA. Broken roads, reduced street lighting, heaps of garbage, etc have took away the city’s beauty. But the authorities are not ready to take action. The CDA is not listening to residents’ complaints. A large number of street lights are broken or out of order. Streets are drowned in darkness, leading to frequent accidents and snatching. But no action has been taken to address the issues. Parks are being managed poorly. Their boundary walls and entrance gates need repair and maintenance. The chairman of the CDA must take notice of the situation. Shakir H Shamim Islamabad
