LALAMUSA: Pakistan People’s Party central Punjab president and former information and broadcasting minister Chaudhry Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that both Saudi Arabia and Iran are important for Pakistan.

Talking to newsmen at Dera Kaira here on Monday, he said that if there were differences among the Muslim countries, Pakistan should try to become a bridge to resolve them. Speaking on the occasion, Punjab former finance minister Chaudhry Tanveer Ashraf Kaira said that the PPP was gearing up for the general elections. He said that former president Asif Ali Zardari’s visit to the KP remained successful as several politicians joined the PPP. The PPP was also preparing for the Senate elections and its next chairman would be from it, he claimed.

He said that Zardari would soon visit the Punjab as many politicians were ready to join the PPP. He said that the PML-N government had failed to deliver. There were no teachers in schools, he said, adding that a number of schools lacked different facilities. He said that the government had failed to end the loadshedding. He said that the PPP was on the only political party and the people were aware of it. He said that PTI chairman Imran Khan should keep in mind that the country did not run with U-turns, but with a vision.
