LAHORE
Dust storm accompanied with scattered rain brought down high temperature of the provincial metropolis on Tuesday while the Met office predicted similar weather conditions for the next 24 hours.
The Met officials said a westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist during next 24-36 hours. They predicted dust-thunderstorm/rain with gusty winds at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Fata, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions), while at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, Multan, Sahiwal and DG Khan divisions.
Rainfall was recorded at several cities including Kotli 28, Rawalakot 27,Muzaffarabad 07, Garidupatta 02, Kasur 17, Sargodha (AP 12, City 08), Lahore (AP 07, City 04), Gujranwala, Khanpur 06, Noorpurthal 04, Bahawalpur (City 03, AP 01), Mangla, Chakwal 03, Bahawalnagar 02, Joharabad, Kamra 01, Parachinar 12, Kalam 04, Dir, Lower Dir, Mirkhani 03, Kohat 02, Chitral, Saidu Sharif, Kakul 01, Larkana 07, Panjgur 04, Quetta (Samungli) 01, Gilgit and Bagrote 03.
