SARGODHA: Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Senator Sirajul Haq on Monday that the ruler family had been given 60-day time by the Supreme Court.
He stressed the need for unity among Ulema to cope with the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah. Addressing the participants at Ulema Convention here he said, "We can end unemployment, lawlessness and other social evils with the imposition of Islamic laws in the country". He said that Ulema belonging to any sect and creed would not be allowed to amend blasphemy law at any cost.
He demanded of the government to take strict action against those who committed desecration of national institutions, honorable personalities and giving blasphemous contents on social media.
Sirajul Haq said that Jamat-e-Islami would play its role for eliminating terrorism, provision of employment and promoting education in the country. Earlier, the Ameer Jamat Islami addressed the District Bar Association, Sargodha.
