In the book, they portrayed the life and works of Dr Iqbal Naseem Khattak and his services for the cause of promotion of the Pashto literature. The speakers deplored that regional languages were not patronised by the government and said that development was possible only by using mother tongue as means of communication and official proceedings.

The speakers said that Pashto language was of immense importance, adding that the developed countries had achieved progress by promoting their respective mother tongues.
