Hot, dry weather to continue
LAHORE: Dry and hot weather was witnessed in the city here Sunday while Met office predicted a partly cloudy weather with little chances of rain on Monday (today).
Met officials said continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. They predicted that mainly hot and dry weather is expected in other parts of the country. However, light rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while very hot weather conditions are likely to prevail in Sindh and lower Balochistan.
During the last 24 hours, rainfall was recorded at several cities, including Hunza, Bagrote, Gilgit, Astore, Bunji, Dir, Kalam, Pattan, Lower Dir, Mangla, Mianwali and Kotli. Sunday’s maximum temperature was recorded at Lasbella where mercury reached 44°C.
