The SPSC exams were held in 2013. After the selection of successful candidates, the written test was conducted in 2015. The result was announced in 2016. Successful candidates were given offer letters and the majority of them left their existing jobs to accept the offer sent by the government organisation. However, the SC restrained the appointments. Around 227 candidates were affected because of the SC’s action.
All candidates have followed the relevant procedure – that spread to three years – and were declared successful by the SPSC. The candidates had got the police and medical verification done as well. I am one of the candidates whose future is hanging in the balance. The honourable chief justice of the SC should pay attention the plight of these candidates.
