Three fall unconscious from factory gas leak

Three labourers fell unconscious due to a poisonous gas leakage at an ice factory near Musarrat Cinema in Nazimabad No. 2 on Saturday. SHO Idrees Bangash of Rizvia Police Station said a police team attended the scene and took the affected men to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, from where they were discharged after treatment. The workers were identified as Kamran, 22, son of Mehar Badshah, Yasir, 20, son of Saeed and Asim son of Hamid. The factory owner told the police that ammonia gas leaked during ice production. No case was registered nor was any arrest made.
