Bahria Town starts development work in Nawabshah

NAWABSHAH: The Bahria Town administration has voluntarily taken up the task of cleanliness, beautification, repair and maintenance of the roads. In this regard, Karachi Bahria Town Administrator Commander (retd) Zulfiqar said that the Bahria Town would work to clean city, maintain parks, repair roads, plant trees and construct green belts.

He said that date trees would be planted on the Sakrand Road, while parks would be developed on both sides of the Gajrah Wah Canal. He said that beautiful monuments would be constructed on different locations of the city, while existing parks would also be improved.

The delegation of Bahria Town, comprising Karachi Bahria Town In-charge Commander (retd) Sher Abbas and Nawabshah Bahria Town Administrator Saeed Qureshi, held a meeting with Chairman District Council Nawabshah Jam Tamachi Unar, Chairman Municipal Committee Muhammad Azeem Mughal and Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Noman Siddique. They also visited the Airport Road, the Sakrand Road, the Society Link Road, the Sanghar Road, Taj Colony, the Buchery Road and the Gajrah Wah Canal.
