A shopkeeper was stabbed to death by the owner of an ice depot after the latter was asked to remove the trash he had dumped in front of the shop, in Khokharapar on Wednesday. SHO Khokharapar police station Zahid Hassan said Zulfiqar alias Munna, 40, stabbed Syed Zeeshan, 40, to death outside the latter’s shop. The SHO stated that Zulfiqar escaped from the crime scene, leaving Zeeshan in an injured condition. The deceased was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for treatment where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. The SHO maintained that the police raided Zulfiqar’s house but he was not there. The police handed over Zeeshan’s body to his family for burial after post-mortem examination.
