‘Registrationof journalists under way’

State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that the CPEC is a game changer.
She said this while addressing a gathering of UCs chairmen and councillors at the residence of PML-N MNA Ch Khalid Javed Warraich on Sunday night. The minister said that the Gwadar’s seaport would connect seven countries. She claimed that the PML-N would clean sweep in the 2018 general elections. It would be a new history when Nawaz Sharif would become PM for fourth term after 2018 elections, she added. The state minister informed that registration of working journalists was in progress by her ministry and it would be completed next month. After completion of registration of journalists, the government would take steps for legislation for their security and welfare next month, she maintained. She told that a five-year training programme would also be started for the working journalists by her ministry across the country. She revealed that the PM would announce good news for the working journalists soon. She said that the problems being faced by the press clubs regarding funding in all cities would also be resolved. Marriyum Nawaz would visit Gojra soon, she added.
