The Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner (DC) has imposed a ban on the operation of unregistered private ambulances. The decision was taken at a meeting in the city on March 17. The DC said unregistered ambulances will be fined and also locked. In Rawalpindi, a lot of ambulances of Rescue 1122 function without registration. People in the city will now find it extremely difficult to reach hospitals on time in case of emergencies. The death toll of the city can increase.
