NOWSHERA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) chief Maulana Samiul Haq on Monday said that actions by President Donald Trump had exposed the true face of the US and the West. Speaking at a function at a seminary in Azakhel, he said the US President’s action showed the anti-Islam intentions of the West. The Maulana said Trump’s decisions had also exposed the secular elements in the Muslim world who despite all this were still supporting the Western agenda.

Maulana Samiul Haq  said the West blamed the Muslims for its own wrongdoings and was accusing religious seminaries of violence. “Violence across the world is the outcome of the greed and brutalities of the West, but it has found Islamic ideology as a scapegoat for the mess it created,” he alleged.  He warned the rulers to stop promoting the interest of the Western countries. The JUI-S chief said that the era of US hegemony was over and it was desperately trying to retain its previous dominant position in the world.
