SUKKUR: Senior Minister, PPPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro on Tuesday, at the residence of PPPP President District Sukkur Syed Javeed Ali Shah, said that the name of the prime minister of Pakistan should be included in the ECL, because he was involved in PananaLeaks case. The minister said that when Ishaq Dar had confessed to his crime of laundering money, then why he was still at large and not behind the bars.

Nisar Khuhro said that all federal institutions like NAB and FIA were focusing on PPPP leaders and initiating actions to victimize PPP legislators, but there was a institutional immunity to the PML-N legislators. He said that the federal government had concealed the plan of census for the past four months and not shared it with the provinces. He said that the federal government did not pay  attention upon the concerns of provinces on the census issue. He said that the procedure of census was dubious and unfair and it raised many questions on its transparency.

The minister further said that the Sindh government had no intention to cancel the census process. “We have knocked at the doors of the court for the transparency in census because the data, required for census, has not been shared, including details of houses,” said the minister. He said that the central government was exploiting the mandate of the provinces. He said that those living in huts and boats be included in the census.

While talking about the CPEC project, he said that it was a 50 billion dollar project and the credit of it went to Asif Ali Zardari, not to Nawaz Sharif. He said that NFC Award should have been announced in 2015, but Nawaz Sharif did not pursue it. He said that despite the protests in Sindh, the prime minister was reluctant to announce a new NFC Award. He said that Keti Bandar, the industrial zone and Karachi Circular Railways schemes were to be added in the CPEC project by the Sindh government. He said that the CPEC project, no doubt, was a milestone towards minimising the underemployment, poverty and that it would bring economic prosperity.

The minster further added that the prime minister was only focusing on Punjab’s development, while Sindh, KPK and Baluchistan were not on his agenda. He said that Nawaz Sharif had in the past announced Rs one billion for Thar, but still he had not fulfilled his pledge. He said that his recently announced projects for Thatta and Sajawal were rhetoric based and for deceiving the people of Sindh.

He said that Sharjeel Memon returned to face all illegal charges and added that there was no deal behind the returning of Sharjeel Memon. While taking a jibe at the PTI, he said that in the forthcoming elections, the PTI government was likely to be only in Banigalla. While talking about Farooq Sattar, he said that Farooq Sattar, like Sharjeel Memon, had also to go to courts. He said the MQM was being operated here by the MQM Pakistan, not MQM London. He said that he had no information about MQM’s  celebration of ‘Youm-e-Tasees’.

Nisar Khuhro said that he, in Sukkur, met the newly-elected divisional body of PPPP Sukkur and district body of PPPP Sukkur for preparations to mark 4th April and said that there would be a big show at Gharhi Khuda Bakhsh, which would be attended by Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other party leadership.
