A majority in KP voted for the PTI in the last general elections because the party promised to overhaul the outdated systems and improve the standard of living of the people. Now, the victory of the party in the upcoming elections will greatly depend on its success in KP. It is nice for the PTI chairman to play an impressive role of opposition, but only the work done in KP would help the party retain its government for the next tenure. Voters are more interested in the party’s actual performance in the province and not in political rhetoric.
The party’s focus should be on KP’s government. If the supporters fail to see any improvements in the region with regards to the development of infrastructure, improved law and order situation, improved quality of life of the people etc, the party wouldn’t be voted in power.
