Rain, snowfall, thunderstorm likely at scattered places

Rain-thunderstorm with light snowfall over the hills associated with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Punjab, while at isolated places in Khaber-Pakhtunkhwa and Fata during the next 24 hours.
An official of met office Imran Ahmed Siddiqui told APP that scattered rainfall is forecast in Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal divisions, while at isolated places in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Fata.
However, hailstorms may occur at few places. A westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist till Saturday.
