KP CM orders completion of schemes in Mardan

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has ordered timely completion of different ongoing development schemes announced by him for PK-29, Mardan. Presiding over a meeting about developmental schemes for PK-29 Mardan, the chief minister directed officials to acquire land for Katlang Hospital.

Member Provincial Assembly Tufail Anjum, administrative secretaries, DG Rescue 1122, commissioner Mardan, DC Mardan and others were also present, said a handout. He also agreed to the upgrading of Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Rustam as C-category hospital and directed officials to include it in the next annual development programme (ADP).

Pervez Khattak asked for the progress report on different ongoing and new developmental schemes of PK-29, Mardan. The meeting was informed that upgrading of the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Rustam was upgraded and by June this year, the hospital would become a complete category-D hospital.

The chief minister directed to make it category-C hospital to cover the entire health needs of the local population and include it in the next budget. Pervez Khattak also directed to complete Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Katlang building by March 31 and hand it over to the quarters concerned.

He also directed to acquire land for the Rescue 1122 office and arrange funding for the construction of main canal road. The chief minister was informed that a summary for provision of fund to Rustam Press Club had been sent to finance department. He also ordered provision of electricity to 10 villages of PK-29.
