DIR: The candidates who had passed the National Testing Service (NTS) examination were interviewed for appointment of primary schoolteachers in Upper Dir.
Various scrutiny and interview committees were constituted in the district for taking interviews and checking of the candidates’ documents. A total of seven venues were set up for taking interviews across the district.
Two venues each were established in Sheringal and Wari while one each in Dir, Brawal and Darora by the Education Department. The sub-divisional education officer, Syed Chiraghud Din, head of one of the scrutiny committees, said that they had completed scrutiny of the documents of the successful candidates and also their interviews had been taken.
He said the purpose behind establishing various venues in the district was to
give relief to candidates of the far away areas of the district. He said after scrutiny of the documents and interviews, a tentative merit list would be displayed soon.
“After display of tentative merit list, the candidates can appeal against merit and only genuine appeals will be entertained,” he added. After completing all procedures, he added, the appointment letters might be issued in March.
