Rangers deployment sought for LHCBA polls

LAHORE

The Lahore High Court has asked Punjab Home Department for deployment of Rangers to ensure foolproof security during the election of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) scheduled to be held on February 25.  The LHC authorities held deliberations with the bar leaders and decided to demand the government to deploy Rangers personnel on the premises on the election day in the wake of prevailing wave of terrorism. A letter has been written to the the home secretary.
