LAHORE College for Women University (LCWU) Monday observed International Mother Language Day to highlight the importance of mother languages for quality education and linguistic diversity. According to a press release, the varsity's Punjabi Department organized a seminar. An awareness walk was also arranged.
Addressing the participants, LCWU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar said mother languages were essential components of quality education. Dr Naveed Shuja also spoke.
