Wi-Fi facility in trains

Pakistan Railways has decided to provide every facilities including Wi-Fi to the passengers. 

The coverage of PTCL is not 100 per cent with the system of Pakistan Railways, these views were expressed by PR Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Javed Anwar. He directed the PTCL authority to sure coverage to the railways premises. He directed the IT director to complete the projects of a call centre and public address systems. He directed the department concerned to continue work in railway workshops.

 

Transferred

The Punjab government issued a notification regarding transfers and postings of three officers on Wednesday.

Shahzaib Hasnain, ADC Revenue, Nankana Sahib, has been directed to report to the director general, Food Authority. Farah Tehseen, ADC Revenue, Khanewal, has been transferred and posted as ADC Revenue, Nankana Sahib. OSD Muhammad Tahir has been posted as deputy secretary, Department of Public Prosecutions.  Moreover, Multan Division Commissioner Capt ® Asadullah Khan is expected to join Irrigation Department as secretary within a day or so. The Punjab government has entrusted the additional charge of the commissioner office to DC Nadir Chattha. —Correspondent
