LAHORE: The 62-year old Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan is among a few globally-famous men and women who had opted to tie marital knots with people much younger than them, proving that age is just a number and endorsing the widely-quoted author and humourist Mark Twain, who had rightly said that age was an issue of mind over matter.
Former South African President Nelson Mandela had married Graca Machel in 1998 on his 80th birthday. She was 53 at that time.Bollywood hero Saif Ali Khan was 12 years Amrita Singh’s junior when the two got married in October 1991.
