The four had entered Pakistan through the Torkham border without any legal documents and arrested from the Malir 15 bus stop. An FIR was registered against the accused under the relevant laws.

Separately, a team of the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Karachi apprehended two suspects and seized a huge cache of narcotics during a raid in the Sohrab Goth area. According to the CIA, on the directions of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Jameel Ahmed, the personnel conducted a raid on a hideout in the SITE Super Highway Industrial Area, and after facing resistance they arrested Abid Ali and Mohammad Ali.

During the search of their hideout, they found 40 kilograms of hashish and a car, which had been a stolen property of Eidah Police Station. The two were said to be notorious drug peddlers.
