Islamabad: The reopening of the main campus of National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in H-12 has been delayed.
Now the classes on campus will resume on January 19 instead of January 12.
It is believed the university reopening has been delayed for security reasons though there is no official word on it.
However, the educational institutions attached with NUST, including Military College of Signals, College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Army Medical College and Military College of Engineering, will resume academic activities on January 12. The city’s both government and private schools as well as colleges and universities have been closed until January 9 for security reasons. They will resume classes on January 12 after weekend.
