Where’s the lid?

It is lamentable that a large number of sewers lids are missing in the residential area of Clifton, Karachi. This is a very serious condition as passersby can fall down into an unclosed sewer. Also, heaps of garbage lie around these sewers, resulting in the spread of life threatening diseases.

The Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) is requested to work out a permanent solution for the problem. In the meanwhile, a small log can serve as a makeshift sewer lid.
