Hamid, Naresh reach ITF Seniors Tennis final

KARACHI: The combination of Gul Hamid Khan and Naresh Khatri cruised into the climax of men’s doubles 55 plus event in the inaugural Karachi Gymkhana Toyota Pakistan ITF Seniors Tennis Championship at Karachi Gymkhana here on Monday.
Hamid and Naresh dropped a set against their semi-final opponents Sabih Wali and Ronnie Dubash before registering a 7-5, 1-6, 10-6 victory.
In men’s singles 45 plus semi-final, Reza Ali Mirza defeated Abdul Saeed by 6-0, 6-1.
In men’s doubles 35 plus semi-final, Ali Bhagat and Muhammad Manzar overpowered Ali Panju and Zulfiqar Ali by 6-1, 6-4.
