Countrywide ‘Dama Dam Mast Qalandar’ and ‘Go Nawaz Go’ movement if PPP’s four demands not met

LAHORE: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Sunday said the ‘Jag Punjab Jag’ slogan of the ruling PML-N had made the National Action Plan (NAP) a complete failure.

Addressing the workers convention and celebrating the Sindh Culture Day at the Bilawal House here, he said Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had converted the NAP into the PML-N Action Plan.

Bilawal said Nisar was responsible for failure of the NAP and demanded his removal. He reiterated his warning of launching a countrywide ‘Go Nawaz Go’ movement if the PML-N government did not fulfill the four demands of the PPP.

The demands are passage of Panama Bill, appointment of a foreign minister, implementation of resolution on the CPEC and formation of parliamentary committee on national security. He warned that there would be “Dama Dam Mast Qalandar” in the entire country if the government didn’t fulfill all the four demands by Dec 27.

The PPP chairman claimed that with the help of his loyalists, he would become the prime minister of the country. He also chanted ‘Go Nawaz go’ as well as “Agli Vaari Phir Zardari” (Next term will be of Zardari again) slogans during his speech.

Bilawal, along with other party leaders, also cut the Sindh Culture Day and Pakistan People’s Party Foundation Day cake. Senior PPP leaders including Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Sherry Rehman, Senator Saeed Ghani and others were also present on the occasion. Meanwhile, in connection with the Sindh Culture Day, artistes from different parts of the country performed at the Bilawal House.
