Three killed as van plunges into river in Upper Dir

DIR: Two women and a man were killed and eight persons injured when a vehicle carrying members of the Tableeghi Jamaat fell into the river Panjkora in Narhan Khwar in Upper Dir district on Saturday.
The officials at the Gandigar Police Station said the vehicle was going to Sahibabad Markaz when it fell into the river Panjkora at Narhan Khwar.It was learnt that the two women and a man were killed on the spot.
They were identified as Bakht Jamala, Said Baha and Samiullah, residents of Usheri Darra. The police said that eight others sustained injuries in the incident. The injured were taken to a hospital in Warai, where they were stated to be stable.
