Fesco’s AGM meeting held

FAISALABAD: The 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Board of Directors (BOD) of the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) was held at the Fesco HQ on Tuesday. Fesco Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rashid Ahmed Aslam chaired the meeting.
The CEO lauded efforts of the Fesco BOD and its decision for the welfare of Fesco employees. He said provision of best services to consumers and protection of employees’ interests was the top priority of Fesco BOD which is commendable. He expressed hope that the Fesco BOD would also perform its active role to take the company at new destinations of progress and development. He said it is a clear proof of BOD’s best performance that Secretary Water and Power Younas Dhaga allowed Fesco BOD to continue its work despite the expire of BOD period. Later, the BOD unanimously approved the accounts for June 30, 2016. The AGM was also attended by Chairman BOD Khurram Mukhtar, Board Directors Zia Alamdar, Abdul Hamid Chaudhry, Rana Ahsan Afzal, Chaudhry Javed Kamal, CFO Zahid Hassan and Company Secretary Athar Ayub.
