PakTurk school students stage protest

LAHORE: A large number of students and teachers of PakTurk schools and colleges staged a demonstration outside the Punjab Assembly on The Mall against the government decision to deport Turkish teachers and alleged possible handing over of the education system to a Turkish NGO.They expressed concern over the move and chanted slogans in support of their teachers. They also alleged that the educational chain was being handed over to a Turkish NGO, warning they would not accept the move. They said the move would put at stake the future of over 14,000 students.

Dera Bugti: Two terrorists were killed in an encounter with Frontier Corps during a search operation in Dera Bugti. Two terrorists were also arrested while their five hideouts were destroyed. Security forces recovered a huge cache of explosive material, including rockets, IEDs and explosives material from a hideout of a banned outfit in Sangan area of Sibi.
