This refers to the news about the attack on the members of civil society holding a vigil in memory of assassinated Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer by a group of sticks- and knives-wielding persons (January 4).
Have we come to a stage where all we have to do is organise a group of half a dozen people, appropriately armed, and subdue those we disagree with? Is this the beginning of the end of our values?
