ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah Thursday wrote a letter to Chairman Parliamentary Committee on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed to brief the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on CPEC.
According to the letter Mushahid Hussain Syed was asked to brief the committee on December 7. The letter said CPEC is an important mega project with global implications. There are no two opinions that it will prove as a game changer for not only the people of Balochistan but the entire region. It is a manifestation of strong bilateral Pak China relationships and if successful will be our victory on socio economic and diplomatic front, it added. It is true that projects of such magnitude bring heavy responsibilities and run huge risks which require all stake holders to be on the same page.
