10-year-old boy killed in firing incident

KASUR: A 10-yaer-old boy was killed during a wedding function at Attari Wirk on Sunday.
The marriage ceremony of Liaqat’s son was going on when accused Sajid and his accomplices allegedly opened indiscriminate firing. As a result, Shahid, son of Asghar, was killed on the spot while Iqbal, 45, also sustained injuries and rushed to a hospital. Later, Allahabad police arrested accused Sajid and registered a case against him.
FAKE PIR HELD: Serai Mughal police on Sunday arrested a fake Pir who had allegedly raped a girl on the excuse of removing bad evils from her body at Balloki village.
The daughter of Muhammad Ali told the police that accused fake Pir Allah Ditta came at her house and claimed that their house was gripped by bad evils. The girl said that the fake Pir took her to a room and allegedly raped her. Later, the girl told the incident to her family and they informed the police regarding the incident. The police have registered a case.
