Man killed, 3 hurt in crossfire

MALAKWAL: A man was killed while three others sustained injuries in a crossfire between two rival groups near Civil Courts on Tuesday.
Adeel of Kotehrra and Abrar of Chak Dadan had an old enmity. On the day of the incident, Abrar along with his companions was on his way to Malakwal by a car when accused Adeel opened indiscriminate fire at them, which was retaliated. As a result, four people, including Abrar, Zahid and Adeel, sustained bullet injuries and rushed to the THQ Hospital where Abrar succumbed to his injuries. Later, police registered a case against 10 accused, including Adeel, Asghar, Akram and Iqbal.
