I am a regular reader of The News and used to read Ayaz Amir regularly. The PML-N seems to have become bad for the writer overnight – after he was no more with the party. If it was that bad what he was doing in this party for so many years?
The latest column by Ayaz Amir, ‘The general’s farewell service to the nation’ (Oct 28) was a shocking and terrible direct invitation to the army chief to intervene. This nation will not forget those people who welcome martial law for settling their own personal scores. I did not expect this from Ayaz Amir whom I considered a democrat.
