British Council, RIS hold education expo

British Council Pakistan in collaboration with Roots International Schools (RIS) held the biggest Education UK Exhibition at RIS, Wellington campus, says a press release.
The exhibition is a popular annual and the most awaited platform that connects UK higher education institutions with prospective students from Pakistan. The 2016 tour was an excellent opportunity to meet with representatives of leading UK universities and gain first-hand information regarding higher education in the UK.
The UK is a top study destination for students considering an international education and has four of the world’s top 10 universities. UK education institutions have a strong reputation for research and offer students world-class education in a variety of fields as well as exposure to a multi-cultural learning and social environment. Through Education UK Exhibition Tour students from A-level and IB Diploma Programme gathered first-hand information about the various study options available to them at Russell Group universities. The representatives were available to provide students with advice and guidance as they plan to embark on higher education opportunities.
Krystyna Januszczak (Leeds University), Kate Raison (Cranfield University), Michelle MacFadyen (Robert Gordon University), Harish Lokhun (Edinburgh University), Nabeel Vehra (Queen Mary London University), Chris Mackay (Strathclyde University), Emma Carter Brown (Manchester University), Fahd Asif (Dundee University), Timothy Pilkington (Nottingham University), Zeeshan Raiz (Warwick University), Muhammad Tariq (Warwick University), Alexandra Elizabeth (Glasgow University), Umair Raiz (Sheffield Hallam University), Abdul Samad (Sheffield Hallam University), Hassan Khan (Kings College London), Prof. Satvinder Juss (Kings College London), Melanie Dunnett (Newcastle University), Akif Khan (Hertfordshire University), Saman Imtiaz Head of British Council Services for International Education Marketing, and Haroon Rashid Manager British Council Services for International Education Marketing graced the occasion with their profound presence.
The tour concluded with memento presentation, group photographs and traditional souvenir distribution ceremony. We are very proud of our young learners: Muhammad Zaki (RIS - Wellington Campus), Fatima Shah (RIS - Stirling Campus) and Muzamil (RIS - Gandhara Campus) who presented the representatives with their creative yet enchanting traditional art pieces.
