Says Imran should not push party workers to point of no return
HYDERABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah has said the PTI’s November 2 sit-in in Islamabad can pose a threat to the system.Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, he said everyone has a democratic right to protest but it should not bring any harm to the country.
He said the PPP has already tabled a bill in parliament on the Panama Leaks and the apex court is hearing the petitions on it. Therefore, he said Imran Khan should review his decision because the circumstances in the country do not allow such a protest.
Khursheed Shah said that Imran Khan should not push his party workers to the point of no return, adding that the security and safety of every participant in the PTI’s protest will be the responsibility of the PTI chief. He claimed if sacrifice is necessary for a revolution, the leaders should come on the forefront for it.
