ISLAMABAD: Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as his health has deteriorated.
His wife Mishal Malik fainted upon hearing this news, family sources said.
Malik was shifted to the Sher-e-Kashmir Medical Institute in Srinagar as his condition deteriorated on Saturday, the family sources said, adding that the left arm of Malik stopped working.
JKLF Chairman Yasin Malik had been shifted to the Central Jail in Srinagar from JIC Hamhaama. He had been kept in solitary detention at the JIC due to which his health deteriorated. Malik was suffering from various diseases and doctors had repeatedly recommended his shifting to some better place with sufficient medical facilities. He is still being kept in solitary detention. He had been arrested from his house on July 8.
