The legal way
The Supreme Court, on the petitions of the Jamaat-e-Islami and PTI, has issued notices to the PM and concerned people regarding the Panama Papers. Now, since legal and constitutional proceedings have been initiated, there seems no justification for the PTI to take this issue on streets. Imran Khan should put his confidence on the impartiality of honorable judges of the apex court and let them observe the case without any external pressure. If the party still goes for the shutdown, it would indicate that the party’s desire is not to solve the Panama leaks issue by adopting a legal course but only to overthrow the elected government and derail the democratic system of the country on the pretext of the Panama Papers.
