Girl kidnapped

PAKPATTAN: A girl was kidnapped on Thursday.Reportedly, 17-year-old daughter of Naziran Bibi of Fareed Kot was alone at her home when accused Rafiq and his accomplices abducted her. Police have registered a case.

VALUABLES TAKEN AWAY: Locals were deprived of cash and other valuables in different incidents on Thursday.Four robbers entered the house of Zahoor Ahmad Dhudhi of Chak 107/D and took away gold ornaments, cash and other valuables worth Rs 131,600.

Two gunmen intercepted Akhtar Hussain of Chak 32/SP and his friend Azam Dogar near Chak Nizam Din and deprived them of cash, cell phones and other valuables worth Rs 91,000. When Akhtar resisted they injured him critically. Three thieves entered the house of Muhammad Iqbal of Sofiabad and stole cash, clothes and other valuables worth Rs 35,000.

Ghulam Ahmad parked his motorcycle (PKK-7668) outside an outhouse and when he came back he found it missing. Police have registered cases.

TWO FAKE CHEQUE CASES: Police booked two people on charges of issuing fake cheques.Accused Muhammad Afzal had taken Rs 400,000 loan from Muhammad Iqbal of Malka Hans and gave him a cheque that bounced. Accused Aqeel had gotten Rs 2,200,000 from Salamat Ali of Chak 163/EB and gave him a cheque that was dishonoured. Police have registered cases.

BOOKED FOR DECANTING: Police booked two shopkeepers on charges of decanting.Accused Yasir Ali of Karkhana Bazaar, Arifwala was booked as he was decanting illegally. Police booked shopkeeper Fayyaz Ahmad of Al-Badar Colony, Arifwala for decanting.

BOOKED: A man was booked under the Amplifier Act on Thursday. Police registered a case against accused Nadeem Shah of Chak 17/SP as he was making announcement of an Urs on the loudspeaker.

Girl abducted, raped for seven months

PAKPATTAN: Two girls were abducted and raped in separate incidents here. In the first incident, Hameedullah and four others entered the house of Noor Ahmad Sheikh at Chak Fareed Kot and allegedly abducted his daughter on January 29. The accused took the girl to an unknown place where Hameed allegedly raped her for more than seven months. The victim escaped from their custody and reached her home on September 6. In the second incident, the niece of Abdul Hameed of Arifwala was going to her school when three people, including Waqar, allegedly abducted her. The accused took her to an unknown place where Waqar allegedly raped her. Police have registered separate cases.

Man rapes minor daughter

PAKPATTAN: A man allegedly raped his eight-year-old daughter at Chak 89/EB. The girl ‘S’ was alone in the house when her father Abdul Rasheed returned from work and allegedly raped her. Police have registered a case on the report of the victim’s daughter Zubaida and started investigation.
