Probe into thrashing of patient

LAHORE

Specialised Health and Medical Education Secretary Najam Ahmad Shah has constituted a committee to inquire into an incident of thrashing of a patient and his brother in Mayo Hospital.

According to a notification issued here on Sunday, University of Health Sciences VC Maj Gen (retd) Dr Muhammad Aslam is convener of the committee while SH&ME Special Secretary Dr Sajid Mehmood Chohan and Prof (retd) Eice Muhammad are its members. It will prepare a report on the basis of facts of the case, evidences, statements and findings, and submit its recommendations within 72 hours.
