KARACHI: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has appointed Mohammad Khalid Awan as the PHF’s special representative in the USA.
Awan, a successful businessman in the United States, has served the Pakistan Board of Investment as Honorary Investment Counsellor.
“We believe Khalid Awan is the best person to work for Pakistan hockey in the USA, and I am glad that he has readily accepted the role”, said Brigadier Khalid S Khokhar, President of the PHF, who made the appointment.
USA is home to the fourth largest population of Pakistani expats. The PHF desires that a platform is developed there through which Pakistanis who are settled in the USA can contribute to the promotion of Pakistan hockey.
