LAHORE
Wapda Chairman Lt-Gen (R) Muzammil Hussain met Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday and discussed with him progress on various energy projects.
The chief minister said that work was being carried out expeditiously on energy projects across the country, including Punjab. He said several projects of energy generation would be completed by the end of 2017 which would result in availability of thousands of megawatts electricity. He said the projects would not only eliminate power shortage but also provide cheaper electricity to the people. The Wapda chairman informed the chief minister about progress on hydro projects.
