798 students receive degrees at COMSATS convocations
PESHAWAR: The COMSATS Institute of Information Technology in Abbottabad held 92nd and 93rd convocations, respectively. The 92nd convocation was organised in the morning, while 93rd convocation was held in the afternoon.
Total 798 students from the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Sciences, and Faculty of Information Sciences and Technology received degrees. Up to 31 students with distinctions were also awarded gold, silver and bronze medals.
Dr Syed Muhammad Junaid Zaidi, Rector of COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, the rector urged the students to use specialised knowledge and ability to research for grand purposes.
He asked them to work hard and more collaboratively to achieve something substantial. Campus Director Dr Khan Gul Jadoon expressed satisfaction at the institute’s excellent performance and successful achievements in the academic and research spheres.
