PESHAWAR: The officers belonging to the Provincial Services Cadre have been assured of solution to the problems related to their career and professional matters.
A press release of the PCS Officers Association said on Friday that a delegation of the Association, led by Abdullah Mehsud, Fahad Ikram Qazi, Muntazir Khan, Dr Azmatullah, Fahad Wazir and Anwarul Haq, called on Chief Minister Pervez Khattak to apprise him of the issues they were facing.
It said that provincial ministers Muzaffar Said and Atif Khan were also present in the meeting at the Chief Minister’s House. The chief minister agreed to resolve the issues.He also gave directions to the ministers and principal secretary regarding every issue that the association raised at the meeting.
The association, the release added, lauded the efforts undertaken by the incumbent government for addressing the concerns of the officers.The chief minister also asked the officers to support the reforms initiatives and ensure better service delivery in the province.
Some major directives included the extension of schedule to ensure timely promotions, immediate repatriation of deputationists, except for the required technical staff.It said that withdrawal of the biased transfers, parity in postings, salaries and incentives were also among the issues, which the chief minister assured to resolve in due course.
He also directed the ministers to meet the provincial assembly speaker to resolve the case of provincial cadre civil servants and Pakistan Administrative Services (PAS) at the earliest, the release said.
