HR secretary given farewell
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Human Rights Kamran Michael on Friday hosted a farewell luncheon in the honour of outgoing secretary for the ministry Nadeem Ashraf.
Additional secretary and spokesman for the ministry Humaira Azam along with other senior officials were also present on the occasion. The secretary is going to retire after reaching the age of superannuation.
Addressing the event, the minister praised the secretary saying he diligently performed his duties and responsibilities. He said the services rendered by him would be long remembered. "The way the outgoing secretary guided, motivated and encouraged the subordinates are highly praiseworthy," he said.
The secretary thanked the minister for the praise and said the time he spent at the ministry was the best period of his service and that he was proud of it. He asked officials to work hard and with full devotion in order to deliver the goods. The minister wished him success in future endeavours.
