LAHORE
Punjab University Institute of Agricultural Sciences student Farooq Ahmed participated in Global Entrepreneurship Summer School and his team won Global Entrepreneurship Summer School Award.
According to a press release issued here on Wednesday, Ahmed was one of the 35 participants who were selected on scholarship to attend the event out of more than 1,000 applicants around the world.
The programme aims at encouraging and connecting top students to challenge societal problems by entrepreneurial means. The team of Ahmad presented a project on migration and they were declared winner of the Global Entrepreneurship Summer School Award.
The winners have been invited as guests of honour to attend a fully-funded international conference going to be held at Brandendurg Academy of Sciences, Berlin. PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has congratulated Farooq Ahmed on his achievement.
