The recent news claiming that 90 percent of mineral water brands are unregistered is quite alarming. This also shows a lack of concern by the Drug Regulation Authority of Pakistan which hasn’t taken any strict action against companies that have violated the mandatory registrations.
Potable water is essential for a healthy life style and a necessity to prevent life threatening infection. It should be among the priorities of the government to make efforts for the availability of clean water.
